Ethics management
K Shipbuilding is dedicated to establishing a healthy corporate culture that actively practices ethical management, with the goal of becoming a centennial company. As part of this effort, we have developed an internal training program, "Our Promise and Practice," to enhance employees' awareness of ethical management and to encourage voluntary ethical practices in daily business activities. Through this program, we continuously provide ethics training.
Our duty
- · Fully understand and actively practice the code of ethics.
- · Comply with local laws and respect the culture and customs.
- · Familiarize yourself with and adhere to the company’s policies and procedures when performing tasks.
- · Consult with your immediate supervisor or relevant department if you find it difficult to judge irregularities.
- · Report any violations of company policies, regulations, or the code of ethics immediately.
Reporting and Suggestion Targets
- 1. Acts of unfair gain related to duties, such as bribery, receipt of money/gifts/entertainment, embezzlement, and breach of trust
- 2. Acts of corruption, misconduct, and dignity-damaging behavior related to employees' duties, and actions that damage the company's image
- 3. Acts of improperly using company assets without company approval
- 4. Holding positions or participating in duties at companies that have an interest in the company
- 5. Acts of leaking company secrets and customer-related information
- 6. Acts of spreading false rumors, damaging the company's image, or defaming specific employees
- 7. Acts of misconduct related to personnel matters such as promotion, hiring, and transfer
- 8. Unethical acts by external stakeholders related to K Shipbuilding
- 9. Other acts that violate the code of ethics
Protection of Whistleblower Identity
- 1. Prohibition of Whistleblower Identity Disclosure and Detection
- Prohibition of Whistleblower Identity Disclosure : Any employee who becomes aware of the whistleblower's identity in the course of their duties or by chance must not disclose the whistleblower's identity.
- Prohibition of Whistleblower Detection Activities : The accused, the accused's department, and other related departments are prohibited from inquiring about the whistleblower's identity from the audit office or conducting any activities to identify the whistleblower.
- 2. Prohibition of Disadvantages to Whistleblowers and Management of Those Who Expose Identities
- In case of identity exposure, investigation of the exposure route, prohibition of personnel disadvantages, and management of positions.
